Why didn't a chart come out?

If the chart is vectors (lines and text), there is no image to extract. Use PDF to Images to rasterize the page instead.

What resolution do I get?

Whatever was embedded. Extract does not upsample. A 72 dpi photo stays 72 dpi.

Extract Images: stored pictures only. PDF to Images: a picture of each whole page.
